It’s a balmy 86 °F/30 °C here in Boston today. While it feels like summer, the color on the trees tell a different story. Shades of yellow and red now adorn the trees, a telltale sign that autumn is quickly approaching. I won’t complain though because I do miss the New England fall foliage, there’s nothing quite like it!
But let’s step back in London to two weeks ago where signs of summer have not abated and the Dalston Yard street feast made a strong impression on me. Not only were the cuisine options all enticing but the beverage stalls offered up great cocktail concoctions from the Tequila, Gin and Rum stores. Most of all I loved the atmosphere: casual vibes illuminated by that beautiful London light.
